Dr. Simmons has always had a passion for finding truth, teaching truth, and living truth. After completing medical school, he returned to Idaho with a vision to bring truth and transparency to healthcare. A licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor, he is committed to giving you tools to find the answers you seek. Dr. Simmons understands that health reaches beyond what happens in the clinic. So, whether he is cooking with his family or teaching his kids to ski, you can guarantee that he is on a journey towards health right alongside you.

Meet our Student Intern

Sydney Kerzie

A Northern-California Native, Sydney has always had a passion for working in healthcare. After watching her own family member’s struggle in the conventional medical system, she felt drawn to making a difference in medicine and being a voice for those who didn’t fit the “one size fits all” approach to care. Sydney earned her undergraduate degree in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from Boise State University. She then pursued her passion at the National University of Health Sciences in the Chicago suburbs, where she is completing her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, set to graduate in August 2026. She is currently finishing her final preceptorship rotation here in the Treasure Valley at Naturopathic Medicine of Idaho. Outside the clinic, Sydney's love of wellness extends well beyond medicine. She enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart, and their rescue dog, Scotch. She has a passion for cooking, gardening, exercising, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Idaho. She is excited to be bringing well-woman exams to NMI, and making care from head to toe a breeze.
